Get Lucky with a Contraction Freebie and a Giveaway!

It is officially March!  The beginning of February flew by with the 100th Day of School and Valentine's Day but these last two weeks have slowed down a little bit as I waited for March to come.  Although spring is on my mind... being a Chicago native I know better and realize that there will most likely be a few more snow storms before we officially hit spring. That's ok though because March and the first of the month bring so many fun things like St. Patrick's Day and our newest currently!

I know St. Patrick's Day is only one day but I can't help but to celebrate it with my firsties because let's be honest they simply love any reason to celebrate!  Their excitement for the every holidays is contagious and that is one of the reasons why I love working with little ones!  These days there is no time to waste so I do my best to tie in holidays with the standards we are currently working on.

I will be using this Freebie next week in my classroom to help us continue to practice contractions-a skill we have been working on but can't quite master.  To see online games and other contraction freebies click here.

As you might have figured out I am excited to have gotten to March (really, ask Aylin I have been talking about March for the last week) so I am going give away my St. Patrick's Day Activity Pack  to two lucky people!

This St. Patrick's Day Pack is 50 pages of fun and includes:
Math Centers, Writing Activities, Making Words, and mini certificates to give each of your students on St. Patrick's Day!   (To get a more detailed description please click here and download the preview for this item. )
